Do you deliver to Creve Coeur?
I'm just a customer there but I would guess that they might possibly use GrubHub or Uber Eats. But I'm not sure about that
Is this place any good? Is it the type of cafe where you can bring a laptop and work in projects and drink coffee for awhile?
It's an old school dive Cafe with great food! Not modern, not up to date but they do have wifi.

Mels doesn't deliver But theres an app. on cell phones that has a delivery service that can pick up and deliver for a fee.
Did this used to be an ice cream shack of some kind?
Yes and a laundromat, a tea room and before that originally a laundromat.

That's a nice mom and pop restaurant married in a neighborhood rather than out on the main drag. Service was excellent the food was excellent. I can give it five stars with no problem.

So I used to love this place. The sausage biscuit and gravy were top notch. Always cooked perfect, as well as the hash browns I’d get on the side.But lately, the last three times I’ve been the gravy taste awful and there’s hardly no sausage in the gravy anymore. Today I ordered them and it tasted like eating burnt 2 week expired biscuits and the gravy tasted like cardboard. The hash browns remained good.Probably won’t be back soon, if ever as we are going to find elsewhere to go after being disappointed so much recently

Great lunch specials. All prepared by hand with real potatoes and home made pies. At a very fair price with hungry man servings. My co workers and i are daily repeat customer!!!

The food is always great! It's a place where locals gather. Marci and the other servers run they're legs off getting orders out and keeping your coffee cup full!

First time visiting Mel's and it was awesome. Eggs cooked properly, bacon was crispy and hash browns were perfect! Going to be back soon 😋
